Our Kindergarten Students Receive Full Tuition Scholarships

 

 

The Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit Law allows a married couple filing jointly to make a donation of up to $1034 and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against the taxpayer's Arizona state income tax.  A single taxpayer is limited to $517.

These tax credit payments are used by TVLC Kindergarten to pay the tuition for kindergarten students enrolled in our school (by law, preschool students are not eligible).

Anyone who is a resident of Arizona and pays state income tax can participate in this program and pay not one additional dollar in tax.  In the past, the generous participation of parents, grandparents, teachers, staff, neighbors and members of Tanque Verde Lutheran Church has enabled  TVLC kindergarten students to receive full tuition scholarships.

For these vital scholarships to continue, your help is needed.  By making a tax credit donation on behalf of TVLC Preschool & Kindergarten, you make sure that part of your state income tax is spent right here in Tucson, at our school.

By law, the actual tax credit payment must be made to a "certified school tuition organization." That organization must comply with auditing and other requirements.  TVLC Kindergarten has chosen the Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization as the organization to receive tax credit money that benefits TVLC Kindergarten.
